Help yourself
The SuperCD has an interface that is designed to help you as much as possible. When you first start the interface, there is a front page of instructions that display advice based on the browser you are running.
The interface itself is scalable. The better the machine you are using, the better results you will get. All the information is made available in all versions, but not in such an advanced manner. The ideal specification for running the inteface is Internet Explorer 4 with a resolution of 1024 x 768. We recognise though that most people don't have this specification, which is why the functionality is on a sliding scale down to a Windows 3.1 machine running Windows 3.1 at 640 x 480 where only two frames are displayed.
The advantage of this is that nobody is discrimiated against. Higher end users get the advantage of multiple frames with advanced messages that allow the user to cancel actions if they realise it is not what they wanted to do.
To send your comments on the new interface, go to the SuperCD forum on the PC Plus website.
